Grey May: Fight Brain Cancer

Grey May: Fight Brain Cancer

Every dollar brings us closer to better treatments and hope for those facing brain cancer.

Every year, nearly 2,000 Australians are diagnosed with brain cancer—a disease with some of the lowest survival rates and few treatment options.

This stark reality underscores the urgent need for groundbreaking research and new therapeutic strategies.

At the Neurosurgical Research Foundation (NRF), we are dedicated to driving innovation in brain tumour research to transform outcomes for patients—right here in South Australia. Through cutting-edge projects, we aim to develop better treatments, improve survival rates, and enhance quality of life for those facing this devastating disease.

This Grey May, we need your help to raise $200,000 to fund three vital initiatives:

South Australian Brain Tumour Support Nurse – Providing essential care, guidance, and advocacy for patients and their families.
Enhancing the immune system for better brain tumour therapy – Harnessing the body’s natural defences to fight brain cancer more effectively.
Overcoming the blood-brain barrier for improved brain tumour therapy – Pioneering new ways to deliver life-saving treatments directly to the tumour.

Every dollar makes a difference. Together, we can accelerate the fight against brain cancer and bring hope to those who need it most. Join us in making an impact this Grey May.
