Together for Neurofibromatosis Research
For every person living with NF, research brings hope for tomorrow.
Behind every face is a different Neurofibromatosis (NF) story.
NF is a lifelong genetic condition that can cause tumours to grow on nerves throughout the body. No two people experience NF in the same way. For some, it can affect learning, vision or mobility. Others live with chronic pain, repeated surgeries and the uncertainty of not knowing what comes next. In some cases, NF can cause tumours to develop in the brain and spine, where they may be inoperable.
Today, families from across South Australia are coming together with one shared goal: to support research that can improve the lives of everyone living with NF.
Research brings hope. It helps us understand why NF affects people so differently, discover new treatments, improve care and, ultimately, move closer to a future where families face fewer challenges and greater certainty.
Your support can help make that future possible.
